Abstract

We present an adaptive harmonic controller that addresses the problem of rejecting a sinusoidal disturbance with unknown frequency that acts on an unknown multi-input multi-output (MIMO) linear time-invariant (LTI) system that is asymptotically stable. For single-input single-output (SISO) systems, we analyze the closed-loop stability and performance of the adaptive controller. We demonstrate the controller on numerical simulations of an acoustic duct.
