Analyis of the electro-optical search for current induced intragap states in blue bronze

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

No dependence of the electro-optical spectra of blue bronze on position and voltage has been observed: in particular, there has been no indication of intragap, soliton-like states at the contacts that can be associated with current conversion into the sliding charge-density-wave. These results are analyzed to show that there is less than one soliton per chain in the contact, "phase-slip" region.
