Abstract

Baltoma is a rare cause of pulmonary nodules, originating from Bronchus-Associated Lymphoid Tissue (BALT). Certain characteristic findings are helpful for diagnosis but do not substitute for tissue diagnosis. Adequate sampling of nodules is necessary for definitive diagnosis by the pathologist. This slow growing malignant tumor responds well to therapy.
