Abstract

Aromaticity from the viewpoint of macromolecular and supramolecular benzene chemistry was studied. Interdisciplinary interaction was promoted by covering larger and larger π-systems and eventually conjugated polymers. It was observed that extended π-systems create challenging problems for any discussions into π-structure.
