Abstract

Moisture content is a determing factor in establishing grade for many types of grain. The standardized bushel concept of marketing more accurately reflects grain value while retaining much of the simplicity of the present system. Adoption of this concept would enhance the efficiency of the marketing system at all levels. A suggested dockage method for this approach is given in the paper.
