Constructing schemes with prescribed cohomology in arbitrary codimension

In this paper we show how to construct varieties of arbitrary dimension in Pn with prescribed intermediate cohomology modules (up to shift). If the codimension is not too small then we use Kleiman's Bertini theorems to guarantee that the varieties are integral or even smooth.
