Designing A Conceptual Discovery Framework For Use By Medical Students

Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterpeer-review

Abstract

Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is a systematic approach to clinical decision-making, where medical practitioners use clinical evidence from current research to decide the best course of treatment. EBM is an essential concept in medical education, and medical librarians play an instrumental role in training students to answer clinical questions. This framework was designed to help students structure and categorize their clinical questions, so that they find the answers needed to determine treatment and/or outcomes. The framework is stage one of a three stage project, which will include an interactive webpage, and iOS application.
