Abstract
Eating disorder is one of the common chronic conditions in adolescence associated with medical and psychological complications. Suicide is the second most common cause of death in adolescents with eating disorder. Treatment involves a multidisciplinary team approach that includes medical provider, nutritionist, and mental health professional. Family support and their involvement plays a very important role in overall management of eating disorders. The chapter describes different types of eating disorder, signs and symptoms, associated complications and treatment.
