Abstract
An account of the committees restructuring at the education department is presented. The Student Competition Committee is chaired by Raymon Sepe Jr., who is the vice president of research and development for Electro Standards Laboratories , Cranston, Rhode Island, where he works in sensorless motor control, fault-resilient control, and linear motors. The Asynchronous Education Committee, deals with developing strategies and pursuing opportunities in asynchronous learning, and is chaired by professor Parviz Famouri who is the member of the IEEE IAS Electric Machines Committee.
