Abstract

Cutoff frequencies of a ridged waveguide are calculated by eigenvalue analysis using the spectral domain Green's function. The results coincide well with HFSS results. The cutoff frequency of the dominant mode will be used for the admittance between the input mode and a slot. The Spectrum of Two-Dimensional Solutions (S2DS) method is seen to have good computational efficiency for complicated internal structures.
