Abstract
Precision Agriculture (PA) is a relatively new farm management strategy that allows agriculturists to quantify and manage the spatial variability in farm fields. Many significant developments in the machinery used for PA have occurred during the last few years. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the current state of those technologies. Discussions focus on developments in the positioning system, sensor, yield monitoring, and variable rate application technologies available for PA.
