Abstract

The demarcation for the formation of cationic aluminium complexes is the transition between the use of chloride as a ligand (Me2AlCl-NH2But 1) and the relatively more polarizable bromide {[Me2Al(NH2But)2]Br 2} as determined by X-ray diffractometry.
