Abstract

Delay-differential operators consisting of commensurate point-delays as well as some specific distributed delays are studied. A characterisation of those operator matrices is given, whose kernel can be represented as the external behaviour of a system of delay-differential equations with only commensurate point-delays and which is explicit and of first order with respect to differentiation.
