Abstract
Circulating fluidized bed(CFB) reactors are preferred in chemistry and energy fields due to its high uniformity of temperature and excellent mixing behavior of gas and solids. In order to get a better general understanding of CFB flow structures, an advanced statistical method is applied to extract information of solid fluctuation from three kinds of signal obtained by local laser probe measurements. The results show that excellent mixing between solid and gas is happened in the range of local time average solid concentration from 0.04 to 0.4.
