Abstract
In this paper the Gamma distribution and related Gamma approximation process based on this distribution are discussed. The approximation properties of this approximation process to locally bounded functions and absolutely continuous functions are studied. Two asymptotic estimate formulas of this type approximation are obtained by using some techniques and results of probability theory.
