Funding Information:The work of genetic and genomic nursing science is supported by the International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG). The vision of ISONG is “Caring for people’s genetic and genomic health throughout the lifespan and across the continuum of health and disease.” To support fulfillment of this vision, ISONG holds annual meetings to disseminate cutting-edge findings in genetic and genomic nursing research and to facilitate networking among genetic and genomics nurse scientists, educators, and practitioners. We are both members of this organization and are serving as guest editors of this issue as part of a collaboration between ISONG and BRN to disseminate important nursing research in this area.
