Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

The paper outlines some of the developments and trends in housing design in the U. S. since the beginnings of the nation, and investigates some possible alternatives for the future. Projections are made as to the housing needs in terms of number and location of dwellings that will be needed. From this base, the housing future is then examined with respect to innovative and alternative housing systems and how they will relate to the overriding concerns of the next decade.
