Hybrid metasurface color-filter arrays

Abstract

A new color filter array (CFA) uses nanofabricated metasurfaces to map four focusing filters to nine image pixels. This approach potentially offers higher stability, single-step fabrication, improved sensitivity, and high color accuracy.
