Image-based compression algorithm for inverse boundary integral operators

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

The ICA representation of the inverse is demonstrated to significantly reduce the number of free-space MVPs required to invert the integral equation formulation of a 2-D cavity scattering problem. The efficiency of the algorithm is a consequence of the effective image distribution generated by geometries which give rise to strong multiple scattering events.
