Abstract

The fast Illinois solver code (FISC) is designed to compute the radar cross section (RCS) of a large object using method of moments (MoM) and multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA). The code can deal with impedance boundary conditions, resistive sheets, and thin dielectric sheets with Galerkin's method and line matching. In addition, this can also solve electromagnetic scattering by large complex 3D objects like aircraft and automobiles on a small computer.
