Abstract

The complex ionization amplitudes in xenon by (e,2e) spectroscopy was studied. The interference effects between odd- and even-party multipole ionization amplitudes were revealed by the manipulation of (e,2e) energy spectra. The results showed that the data contained both magnitude and phase information about the complex ionization amplitudes.
