Abstract

Laser sintering as a new technology was adopted to synthesize the Al2O3-WO3 system negative thermal coefficient (NTC) thermal sensitive ceramics. The said material has unique properties. The resistivity-temperature relation varies linearly as the temperature range and composition are definite. X-ray photographic powder analysis indicates that the conducting phase in the specimen is nonequilibrium phase AlxWO3.
