K*K* four-quark-state production in reactions and hadronic collisions

Abstract

Data of K*+K*- in the 1.7-2.7-GeV region show a large cross section compared to the small cross section of K*0K*0 and 0 in the same region. This pattern can be understood in terms of the mixing of the Q2Q2 mesonia. Small cross sections of and large cross sections of K*0K*0 and mesonia in inclusive p and pp production are also expected.
