Abstract
Low-temperature specific heat (Cp of the superconduting Th7(Fe1-xCox and Th7(Fe1-x)3 intermetallic compounds is reported. In the normal state, the Sommerfeld coefficient (γ), the Debye temperature and the electron-phonon coupling constant are found to be very similar to those of the pure Th. The superconducting phase exhibits a BCS-type behavior, as it is indicated by the exponential Cp vs. T dependence, and the ΔCp/γTc = 1.48 ratio, where ΔCp is the Cp(T) jump a transition temperature (Tc).
