Abstract

Center-of-mass corrections to the static MIT bag model lead to desirable decreases in the zero-point and color coupling constants. Dibaryon masses increase. The flavor-singlet dilambda moves above the ΛΛ threshold. Energies of strange quark matters and mass splittings of baryon excitations both increase.
