Abstract

The views of various individuals on improvement of software quality are presented. Victor R.Basili stated that software organizations should observe and analyze their software development processes and products. One of the creators of software reliability engineering expressed that these organizations must recognize that users view product quality as the trade-off among reliability, time of delivery and cost that best needs, given the way in which they expect to use the product. Some of the researchers recognized that testing software is as important as writing.
