Abstract
This work incorporates the zeolite membrane to the aqueous ammonia CO 2 capture for decreasing the regeneration energy in the stripper and partially functioning as the solvent regenerator. As a result, a NF/RO FAU membrane was prepared and tested. The membrane shows an excellent separation performance, which confirms the feasibility of the concept. The combination of the zeolite membrane and the chemical scrubbing may provide a means to the breakthrough of developing a cost-effective technology for post-combustion CO 2 capture.
