Abstract

We report a thermal anneal process for the soluble, p-type organic semiconductor, triethylsilylethynyl anthra-dithiophene (TES-ADT) that yields polycrystalline films. Crystallites are reproducibly obtained with a typical width of 100 m. The process can be performed on prefabricated field-effect transistor structures, opening the way for electrical studies of films produced via this route.
