Abstract
Cadmium [Formula Presented] energy spectra have been measured which show the effects of electron impact exchange processes at large scattering angles. As the scattering angle is increased from 2° to 15° the relative peak intensities of the [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] [Formula Presented] autoionizing resonances change by a factor of 3. A semiempirical model is presented which seeks to parametrize all the data in terms of a single constant.
