Abstract
A scintigraphic 'owl's eye' sign has been described in benign autonomous nodules and papillary carcinoma of the thyroid gland. In this case, a thyroid cyst produced a striking 'owl's eye' appearance on a Tc-99m pertechnetate thyroid scan.
