N2 - We describe the second reported case of peritonitis caused by the fungus Exophiala jeanselmei in a patient on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and the first such patient to survive. Management of the patient consisted of Tenckhoff catheter removal and intravenous amphotericin B.
