Abstract

The data obtained from these experiments demonstrate that there exist LADs coded by a new locus (or loci) distinct from H-2 or Mls. This locus induces a weak MLR that is difficult to detect in a primary MLR, but causes significant proliferation in a secondary MLR when in vitro primed peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) are used as responder cells.
