Abstract

Measurements were made of the pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature T//c of U//6X (X equals Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) compounds and pseudobinary alloys to pressures P APP 1STH 2. 2 GPa. The results indicate that variations of the electronic density of states at the Fermi energy N(E//F) or an unusual volume dependence of the effective pairing interaction dominate the high pressure T//c behavior of these materials.
