Abstract

Secure multi-party computation or secure MPC is an important tool for protecting data privacy. Nowadays, when data owners outsourced their data to third-parties, like those cloud platforms, secure MPC can be established to protect privacy while enabling computations. This chapter first overviews the system architecture of typical secure MPC frameworks, both in two-party andmulti-party settings. Second, the chapter analyzes the potential collusion attack in the information-theoretic secure MPC, a multi-party distributed scenario. Third, the chapter describes an efficient collusion-deterred mechanism by means of mechanism design and its theoretical verification.
