Abstract
Psychological and behavioral factors play an important role in recovery from myocardial infarction. Compliance with medication, dietary and exercise regimens, for example, has been addressed from a psychological perspective. This paper provides some examples of psychological intervention to improve recovery prospects in this patient group.
