Abstract

The copper complexes were produced in pulsed laser vaporization molecular beams. The adiabatic ionization potentials (AIP) and vibrational frequencies were also determined by pulsed-field ionization zero electron kinetic energy (ZEKE) spectroscopy. It was observed that the copper ion binds the ligands about five times stronger than the neutral metal atom.
