Abstract

The evolution of recrystallized textures in cold rolled AA 5182 aluminium alloy was quantified by X-ray diffraction analysis. The quantification process involved the studying of transformation kinetics of recrystallization during isothermal annealing. The recrystallized textures were quantified by using Avrami type equation. The values of the Avrami exponent were found to be in consistence with the other experimental results.
