Abstract

Two recently proposed relationships for the critical temperature Tc for the onset of radiation-enhanced diffusion in ion mixing are examined. The linear relationship between Tc and the cohesive energy Ecoh is shown to be in agreement with experiment, while the relationship between Tc and the Debye temperature FTHETAD is not.
