Removal of Alkali Metal in PFBC Flue Gases

The presence of alkali metal in coal may cause corrosion of a flue gas-fired turbine in a PFBC unit. The present paper expounds the alkali metal removal mechanism and method, providing a realistic basis for the further study of such a removal process.
