Report of the President, American Pharmacists Association Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science (APhA-APRS)

Over the past year, APhA-APRS has fulfilled its strategic initiatives by transforming the role of the pharmacist, empowering members, advocating for the profession, and developing leaders. The work of the membership, leadership, and staff cannot be overemphasized in carrying out these important functions to serve the Academy and the Association. One of the joys of serving as your Academy President is the opportunity I have had to work alongside so many passionate and dedicated members to help achieve our Academy goals. I ask you to continue thiswork and to keep pushing the scientific boundaries of the profession and the Association.
