Abstract

In this paper, the various methods employed for the free vibration analysis of sector plates are briefly described. These methods are separated into four broad groups: analytical, semi-analytical, energy and numerical. These methods can deal with unstiffened, stiffened, uniform and nonuniform thickness, isotropic and orthotropic sector plates.
