Abstract

Although aiming at facilitating service level management, the SLA is unfortunately not so promising for contracting SLAs is retarded by some challenges. This paper proposes to build a SLA Foundation Template Library (FTL) to overcome the obstacles from the perspective of SLA templates. The FTL provides a comprehensive set of well-defined and reusable components for rapid SLA development with higher quality. Furthermore, with the Object-Oriented approach and Unified Modeling Language applied, the FTL also achieves extensibility and flexibility as well as legible representation.
