Abstract

Insight into molecular structure and function of membranes from complex tissue such as brain may be gained by application of sophisticated analytical and physical techniques. Accordingly, the first characterization of the use of electron paramagnetic resonance with a protein-specific spin label to investigate the structure of mammalian synaptosomal membranes is described.
