Abstract
Most patients with small, noninvasive, well-differentiated tumors do well despite diverse methods of treatment. Some patients, however, have dire outcomes, and their therapy requires a firm grasp of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, as well as an understanding of essential clinical endpoints.
