Abstract
The effective string lagrangian for hadron interaction in QCD with no adjustable parameters is obtained. The Regge slope is evaluated: L′ = 1.1 GeV-2. Some problems of this approach and the connection with the charmonium potential model for the lowest bound states of heavy quarks are discussed.
