Abstract
In this poster we analyze the structure of author relationships using structural equation modeling (SEM). A structural model of four research areas and associated authors was examined in the author vector space in information sciences. The SEM result confirmed that the selected authors were adequately explained by their specific research area in the vector space based on author publications. In addition, we found that the research areas of "Information retrieval" and "Webometrics & Search log analysis" were closely related to each other.
