Abstract

This paper presented the study results on the preparation of WO3/Fe2O3 catalyst for the metathesis of propene by high power CO2 laser. The relations among the catalytic activity and the catalyst composition, laser power and melting time were discussed. This catalyst has the advantages of realizing rapid temperature raise, performing superhigh temperature melting and forming nonequilibrium phase state.
