Abstract

A chiral, doubly bridged ansa-titanocene complex with C2 symmetry has been synthesized in four steps from bicyclo[3.3.1 ]nonane-2,6-dione. The design of the complex precludes the formation of meso or C1 diastereomers or conformers.
