Abstract

A new formulation for the dielectric equations based on a perturbation of the perfect electric conductor is developed. Consequently, this approach is advantageous when the dielectric medium has a strong loss component. An advantage of this method over impedance boundary conditions, however, is that this equation is exact and will reproduce the correct result even for surfaces with small curvature radii.
