Abstract

A recently finished experiment to evaluate the generalized Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn sum on ³He and the neutron in a Q² range between 0.03 GeV²/c² and 1.2 GeV²/c² will be discussed. The experiment was conducted in Hall A at Jefferson Lab using a polarized ³He target in combination with a highly polarized electron beam.
